March's mysteries


Where is everyone this morning?
We are in the wet room dyeing.

 Barbara is dyeing a sliver then putting it in the microwave.
 Jill is using a couple of different methods of dyeing her fleece.
 Yvonne is colouring a blank, knitted beforehand and it will be unraveled after it dries and ready for a new project.

 Earlier in March Brenda gave us a demonstration on using Stitchfiddle.
 Here is a selection of Brendas Card weaving. She is going from strength to strength!

 Heather has done some reverse dyeing...cant wait to try this.
 Some of the EWES went to Yandiah for the spinning retreat. Saturday night was a mascarade.

These tapestries from the Australian and New Zealand Competition were visiting us. they will be displayed at the Tapestry Retreat in September this year.
