Fibre Creations...Inspired by Japan
Here are the raffle prizes. 1st was a hand spun, hand knitted alpaca blanket, designed by Brenda Horne. 2nd prize was a scarf woven by Liz Calnan and 3rd prize was a lace scarf knitted by Brenda Horne.

Pre May Show
The exhibition is very soon and we are all working hard.
All different types of bags are being made.
Denise has made some jackets, cushions and scarves.

The cabinets at Dence Park are displaying some of our Japanese inspired work.

March's mysteries
Where is everyone this morning?
Barbara is dyeing a sliver then putting it in the microwave.
Jill is using a couple of different methods of dyeing her fleece.
Yvonne is colouring a blank, knitted beforehand and it will be unraveled after it dries and ready for a new project.
Here are some of our results, our fleece, yarn and Barbaras apron.
Earlier in March Brenda gave us a demonstration on using Stitchfiddle.
Here is a selection of Brendas Card weaving. She is going from strength to strength!
Heather has done some reverse dyeing...cant wait to try this.
Some of the EWES went to Yandiah for the spinning retreat. Saturday night was a mascarade.
