Fibre Creations 2016 Exhibition: 'A Winters Tale'

 We enjoyed each others company.



 We had a demonstration room for the first time. We did  weaving, spinning, crocheting and embroidery to name a few.

 We also had our stash busters room,

Preparing for our exhibition.










    Fibre Creations is an exhibition and sale of EWES members work. There will be demonstrations of spinning, weaving, knitting, braids, etc with the opportunity for hands on. EWES also have a stash sale. The white rug is one of the raffle prizes where the proceeds will go to Studio Artes which recently lost equipment in a fire.

 A variety of activities were happening today.




 There was a lot of discussion about our Exhibition, 'A Winters Tale'. Shakespeare died about 400 years ago so we have used this title to inspire us. We are making good progress with our raffle blanket. Our exhibition will be at Dence Park May 27th-29th

April 1 Palm house Exhibition.

 Anne's embroidery won a second place ribbon at the Royal Easter Show


Today Marie, Carmel and Judith went to Liz and Heathers Exhibition. It was a beautiful day.
 Liz's weaving is exciting colourful and inspiring. There were some wonderful new ideas too
